A former owner of the 308 GTB with the chassis number 21457 has contacted me, aiming to find out the current location of the car. He still has some documentation about it and would like to contact the current owner. It’s a 1977 steel bodied car in Azzurro Metallizzato with blue interior, originally delivered to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Later on it went to California. If you know about the whereabouts of this 308 GTB, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to forward the information to the former owner.

Do you know which license plates were on the car? That might help…
Unfortunately not…
Reports of this car going to California may be false. Through an auction of a very close VIN GTB on Bring a Trailer, another watcher has indicated he has #21457 still in Canada…. more to come I hope.
Hi Bob, that’s interesting news. Please let me know if you find out more!
Can you forward my contact information to Mr. Clarke so I can get these items to him. My window is closing.
Thank You.
There may be some confusion…. it visited California with me a couple of times. I took the above picture while on vacation at Ferrari West in Northern California when the car was in for a service.
I would appear it could still be with the buyer I sold it to in Edmonton. I’m hoping he will come here so we can hook up. While I’d love to get it back, if not I have some items that really should go back to the car.
I’ve owned this vehicle since the early years of the century, it’s definitely not missing, it’s in my garage and I’d love to receive anything you might have on my 308 GTB.
Thanks
Peter
Peter,
If you will contact me, then I can get you all the related items including an original framed charcoal sketch….
Bob
Thank you, Peter, for getting into contact. It is much appreciated. I will send you Bob’s details in a private message later on and I hope that you will catch up.
Great to see that this little website is helpful in some way!
Peter,
Please contact me directly by email. I will be back in Edmonton in mid-Sept and would like to get these items back with the car.
Regards,
Bob
